The highlight of today was bungee jumping with Bungee Uganda directly over the Nile River. Bungee jumping is an adrenaline rush like no other, so duhhh, I had to do it. When we checked in for our bungee, the staff at the reception asked us to sign their liability and indemnity waiver. I felt so so sick to my stomach before I decided to sign that paper. We then emptied our pockets and stepped on the scale to determine the length and strength of our bungee rope. We walked to the top, got into our safety harnesses, and waited in line for our turns. From the five of us who chose to bungee, I went second. Once everything was secure, I looked over the 45-meter drop. Then the jump instructor went, "Three — Two — One — Bungee!!!" as that was my cue. It was a moment of free fall and pure exhilaration. All in all, I had an amazing experience and it was thrilling to check this off my bucket list.
