This week, we completed making two new tables outside the Gode Dager restaurant. We also painted! It looks really nice with a fresh coat of paint and gives the restaurant more character. We eventually ran out of materials, so we’ll have to get more for next week.
Once our work day was finished, Lotte and I packed chairs to their viewing platform above the campsite, to watch the sunset. We attempted some photos, which turned out to be very goofy, cute, and slightly dysfunctional.
13 February, 2024
Just another day up in the mountains. Lotte and I worked at Mbunga again today. We finished building the last table, and we completed all of the paint jobs. We were there cooking and sweating in the heat, and then walked down the valley before getting a boda ride home. We are pleased with the work we’ve completed so far. The people who work up there appreciate it too. The next project is to work on the toilets and showers!
